Wedding Rentals

Make your wedding personal

date posted: June 09, 2014

What to Keep in Mind when Selecting Wedding Rentals:

• What your location is already providing

• Your wedding style

• If it’s a day or nighttime affair

• Number of guests

• Color palette

• Your budget

Rental Preparations:

Collect a portfolio of ideas from magazines and Pinterest boards.

Make a list of extras you may want to include at your wedding, such as a photo booth, cotton candy or popcorn machines, wedding signs and seating charts, or amenity baskets for the bathrooms.

Contact rental companies for each type of rental you’ll need. Find out what they offer and by when you must order.

Some Rental Options:

· dinnerware

· flatware

· linens

· chairs

· tables

· glassware

· generators

· hot plates

· arches/trellises

· tents

· dance floor

· architectural items

· additional furniture

· props

· portable restrooms

· photo booth

· signage

· bouncy house

· cotton candy machine

· vintage pieces

Questions to Ask:

When will rentals be delivered?

Is there a delivery fee, or is this incorporated into the cost? Can items be delivered to my specific location?

Who will be setting up rental items?

Is the staff well-versed in the procedure?

Is there an extra fee for staff set up?

Does the rental require power?

Can you provide a generator if necessary?

Is there a pick-up for rentals, or is this my responsibility? How long after the wedding should items (not being picked up) be returned?

What happens with breakage or non-working items?

Is an accidental damage waiver available? Note: If not, it’s wise to get a private insurance policy for any unforeseen mishaps to prevent replacement costs.

When do I need to order by to guarantee availability?
